Senior Brand Manager – Consumer OTC

Job Summary:

The Senior Brand Manager for Consumer Over-the-Counter (OTC) Supplements will lead the strategic development and execution of brand marketing strategies for our OTC supplement product lines. This role involves managing brand positioning, key account plans, and marketing campaigns to drive brand growth and market share. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in digital marketing and online platform management, with a proven track record of success in the consumer health and wellness sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy / Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for OTC supplement products to achieve growth objectives and maximize market presence.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer needs.
    • Define brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate the brand in the marketplace.
  • Marketing Plan Execution:
    • Design and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
    • Manage the creation of marketing materials; including advertising, promotions, and product packaging, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and online advertising to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Key Account Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for key accounts to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and distributors.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between brand strategies and sales objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze brand performance metrics, including sales data, market share, and campaign effectiveness.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations updates, highlighting key insights and recommending actionable improvements.
    • Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies as needed to stay competitive.
    • Ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Provide guidance and support to key account specialists and collaborate with other departments, including sales, purchasing, RA, and finance.
    • Manage external agencies and vendors as necessary to achieve marketing objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand management, with a focus on consumer OTC supplements or related consumer health products.
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, and online advertising.
    • Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and executing marketing strategies.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of brand management principles and marketing strategies.
    • Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, and content management systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based but may travel occasionally to meet with key accounts, participate in industry events and outside meetings.
